Mendip Moments - About us

At Mendip Moments we use our own milk and cream from our pedigree dairy herd of Holstein cows to make our indulgent ice cream.  They graze leisurely on lush pastures overlooking the Somerset levels and Glastonbury Tor.  We are committed to achieving the best quality and taste, and try to source many of our other ingredients as locally as possible from good quality suppliers.  This helps to keep the local economy vibrant and reduces food miles.  

Our ice cream uses only natural ingredients and has no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives.  We have an indulgent range of award winning ice creams and a selection of excellent quality sorbets using water from our own Mendip Spring.  

We are thrilled to learn in August 2009 that we have won 2 x GOLD awards in the Great Taste awards.  This competition is run nationally and attracts high quality food entries from across the whole country and is the most prestigious in the world of Fine Food.  This was the second time we entered this competition and we won 2 x Gold awards last year, so we are thrilled with our continued success.
